Tibetan Lambswool still attached to the skin. This is suitable for using as is on the skin or by cutting off and felting into your dolls head for that gorgeous "Do". makes excellent wigs.
Each mystery SCRAP pack is made up of 30 grams off cuts in an assortment of colours. These are still good quality pieces just too small to make wiglets from.
These are a great option if you are a polymer clay artist needing only small amounts or for smaller dolls (12" tall and smaller). Or you can simply remove from the skin and felt into the cloth doll head ... these are not suitable as pieces to make wigs unless you weft the hair first (see below) or you want to join pieces togeher with a whip stitch.
TIP-
create wefting by first removing the hairs from the skin a little at a time with scissors or a sharp blade close to the skin... keep the ends as neat as possible and lay them on top of a piece of tissue paper with a straight line drawn on it. Line the ends of the hairs a little at a time against this drawn line...
use a thread that matches the fibres and stitch with your sewing machine with the tiniest stitch 0 width and 1 -1.5 length to secure in place... sew as close to the line as you can making sure you catch the fibres with each tiny stitch no more than 1/8 - 1/4 of an inch in from the cut edge... sew across this line 2 or 3 times and remove the tissue paper.. you have now created wefted hair... trim along stitched edge to neaten and apply to your chosen doll.
You may even choose to run a very fine line of glue (something that dries clear) along the cut edge to stop the hair from being easily pulled out of the weft but this is optional... the key is to use the shortest stitch you can...
